CAREGiver / Home Care Aide Job Description:
Home Instead CAREGivers provide a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their homes. These services are meant to enhance the quality of life for seniors. Home Instead CAREGivers help clients and their families meet the challenges of aging with dignity, pride, care and compassion. Services will include companionship and home helper services (companionship, socializing and activities, walking assistance, medication reminders, light housekeeping, meal preparation) Personal Care (bathing , grooming, dressing, toileting , mobility assistance). Specialized services include Alzheimer's and other Dementia Services ( Mental stimulation through conversation and other activities, Maintain a routine and safe environment, Manage changing behaviors, Support the family)

*No previous experience necessary, but prior caregiving experience preferred - skills training provided by Home Instead*
Requirements to be a CAREGiver:
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Current and valid drivers license
- Reliable transportation
- Current auto insurance
- Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
- CPR/ First Aide Certification
