As a CAREGiver, you will be responsible for enhancing our mission of improving the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion. Expectations and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provides companionship and care for elderly clients in their own homes, hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, etc.
- Conduct basic errands and light housekeeping tasks
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Assistance with grooming and bathing
- Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
- Alzheimer’s or Dementia Care
- Preparing meals

Requirements to be a CAREGiver:
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- 6 months of caregiving experience preferred
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Complete a criminal background check, DMV check (if applicable not required, and TB test
