IMMEDIATE POSITION AVAILABLE - Spanish-speaking CNA Needed (Bilingual preferred)
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living while maintaining a healthful and safe environment which includes:
Helps the client to maintain good personal hygiene including dressing, bathing, grooming, and oral hygiene.
Assist in maintaining and healthful and safe environment.
Mobility, transferring, ambulation, and access to the outdoors when appropriate.
Toileting.
Light housekeeping and home management of the client's living area.
Plans and prepares nutritious meals.
Follows the nursing plan of care.
Encourages the client to be as independent as possible according to the nursing plan of care.
Attempts to promote the client's mental alertness through involvement in activities of interest.
Gives simple emotional and psychological support to the client and other members of the family.
Records completion of assigned tasks according to the company policy.
Attends in-service training as required by state and federal regulations.
Confirms on a weekly basis the scheduling of visits with the Scheduling Coordinator.
Notifies the agency of absences due to illness, emergency leave, normal vacation periods, or special professional meetings which will not affect agreed service with the agency.
Qualifications & Skills
Certified by the Maryland Board of Nursing
CPR Certified
Valid PPD or Chest Xray
Be able to pass a CJIS background check
Have reliable transportation
Complete COVID 19 vaccination series
Be able to use a smart phone to clock in/out and report on client's condition
