Job Responsibilities

• Provide medication / vitamin reminders
• Assist clients with ambulation
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene (i.e. showers, incontinence, etc)
• Perform light housekeeping duties (dishes, laundry, etc)
• Escort clients to appointments (as needed)
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report ANY and ALL unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Mandatory Job Requirements:

• Current CNA License (IL) - for CNA's only
• Current "fit to work" physical exam
• Current TB Screening Results (blood test or chest x-ray)
• Currently listed on the Healthcare Workers Registry
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Ability to to adhere to health and safety standards
• Must be respectful and compassionate
• Ability to effectively use time management to provide the best care for the client

Preferred Job Requirements:

• CPR Certified
